About Us "The Broussard Fire Department"
We protect the great City of Broussard, areas of Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes. We respond to structure fires and alarms, wrecks with injuries and extrication, medical calls, hazardous materials, and any other special situation that may arise.
We are in an area considered the fastest growing in the State of Louisiana. With all this we are faced with the growing pains of the area and we embrace this opportunity and will continue to provide our public with A+ plus service and
the commitment that they deserve. We currently hold an I.S.O Rating of Class 4; operating 8 pieces of apparatus out of 3 stations.
We also respond on automatic and mutual aid with Youngsville and Milton Fire Departments. We also assist the other departments in the parish if need be on a second alarm.
